As part of the World Tuberculosis day the whole month of March was dedicated to creating public awareness on the disease and CME's regarding newer Anti Tubercular Treatment. on March 23rd an Inter Collegiate Quiz program was conducted by Dr.Murali Mohan from Narayana Hrudayalaya for the Post graduates and Interns and under graduates of BMC&RI, MVJ Medical college, Sri Devaraj urs Medical College, Dr. BR Ambedkar Medical college and St. Johns Medical college. a series of exhaustive and entertaining rounds of quizzing on tuberculosis and RNTCP and chest radiology, BMC&RI won the first prize.
The Quiz was succeeded by informative talk by Dr.Shivanand , Director of IGICH and Dr. Ravindra reddy, Medical consultant to WHO followed by award ceremony.
